- That my service to the world will be to give people the faith that the world they live in is full of infinite beauty, by helping them see the beauty that's there all around them.
- That my work will not merely be a display of my skill and precision, in fact far from it. Rather, it will be the translation of nature's subtle language into the visual/literal language that humans understand.

I like the pledge too! However I do seem to find that being optimistic is much easier than spreading optimism in others (i.e. in those who are not already optimistic). We shall keep trying anyway!
